Hi Kim:
I've got some pictures of Bentley for you. Bentley enjoys being out in
the yard and going for walks as much as Alex, our Birman, and we do. We
got him to do some posing for us on the garden table. They were both out
with us all day and now are curled up in our laps sound asleep. That's
the good thing about taking them for walks; they both sleep like logs.
Feel free to post these on your web site or do what ever you please.
Thanks again for a wonderful cat. Enjoy!

I wanted to send you a picture of Zoe because
she's so adorable. She is 8 lbs, but her paws are still much larger
than her little body so I think she's going to be even bigger. The vet was
very impressed by her. Of course, I'll keep you updated on Zoe's
progress Thanks again for raising such sweet and intelligent cats.

If you click on this musical
Youtube video,
you will see that Sasha and Simone are really at home here at our place.
They are a real joy to us and we thank you for making them available to
us. Our daughter Ariel visited Chicago just before we left for
vacation. She stayed at our house for a few days after we left and watched
our kitties. She made this video of Simone and Sasha.

Hi Kim,
Just a note to let you know I'm reading "Dewey" and he is no match for our
kitties. Beau, Basil, and BeBe are just wonderful and we have a
life. Beau wants to live in the garage and goes to the laundry room door
every day and cries to go out. I console him and we move on. Basil is not
a loner. If left in the room alone, you would think he is being
tortured by the Taliban. BeBe is a hoot and talks all the time. This
has taken some work since she is very shy. She is my little girl. I love
our cats and am still working for more. I keep telling Bill, lets get
another kitty. I love and spoil them. They are a comfort to us.
Love, and hope all is well with you.

P.S. So?? are all your kitties spoken for??? |

Hi Kim, Willow is just fantastic
and quite the little trooper!! I was offered a new position with my
company in the Boston area. So the little missy and I had a two day road
trip and she is a great traveler! Not a peep the first day however the
second day she was chatting away! We then stayed in temporary housing for
several months while our house was under construction and she could not
understand the apartment set up but she made quick friends with the boxer
next door (through the door, of course). Once we got settled we did adopt
a new little brother (Alexander Apollo - Xander for short). She tries to
keep him in line and that is a job. Willow has become very social and is
quite the lap kitty now! She adores my boy friend who was not a big cat
fan until Willow had her way with him!!! Now if I have to go out of town,
he has sleep overs with kids!!! I do hope all is well with you.

Hi Kim, I
just thought I'd drop you a line and let you know how Elliot is doing. He
just turned 3 a couple of weeks ago and he has grown up into a handsome
boy, indeed. He stands an inch under three feet tall on his hind legs! He
is hands down the most loving animal any cat lover could hope for and I
love him dearly, as does his brother, Akerfeldt. I hope you enjoy the
picture as much as I enjoy him.
Thanks again

Hi Kim,

Remember? this is Nate and Laney as
kittens.
I thought I'd share some of my favorite
pictures of Nate and Laney as they celebrate their 4th birthday.
They're doing great and always seem to have a
grand time hanging out in the sunroom. Like typical brother and sister,
they couldn't be more different. Laney likes everything high tech - the
computer, TV, DVD, VCR, and laser mouse toy. She's fascinated by all those
gadgets and not long ago, she managed to set a password for the
screensaver and locked me out of the computer. I had to unplug the
computer and disable the password portion of the screensaver to get back
in.
Nate on the other hand, prefers low tech toys
like plastic rings from juice bottles that he can fetch and is always
ready to chase down spiders and centipedes for me - I don't know what I'd
do without him! He is also huge, slightly over 24 lbs this past summer.
They are both very clever cats and a joy to live with. And happily, all
three cats are getting along well together.
I've been keeping up with your website and it
looks like many people have adopted your wonderful Maine Coon cats. All the
best to you during the coming year.

I took this photo of Wilie and
O'B yesterday.
Wilie is the gray boy and O'B is orange.
They love each other and they love all of us, too.
O'B is definitely bigger and fluffier than Wilie.
Wilie is leaner. We think they are both beautiful.

The boys have decided that an old water bottle
box is wonderful... so we gave them another so they wouldn't fight over
it... so, of course, they both crawled into the same box!
Then I bought a new rug for in front of
the sink... and they decided it was theirs as well. Thank you again
for my delightful and loving furry children!

I just wanted to give you an update on
Leo's first weekend with his new family. He is a true joy. He's as sweet
as can be. He immediately took to Cat, as well as the entire family (he's
like a mini-politician, looking to spend time with everyone as he "works"
a room).
You did such a great job with Leo. He's
just so well socialized. I can't believe how well you were able to get him
used to riding in a car. On our ride home, Amy & Cat passed him
back-and-forth and he either slept or looked out the window.
Despite the fact he was in new
surroundings he always has used his litter box and he's showing a healthy
appetite. We did take him to the vet tonight, he's perfectly healthy. We
simply couldn't be any more pleased.
I've attached a couple of photos. In
one, despite the fact he's got 2 nice cat beds, a "decked out" cat tree
and access to any couch in the house, he often lies down in a planter pot
Amy got as a gift from my Mom (he just loves that pot for some reason, I
think he likes the way his cat toys in there).
The other photo shows him asleep on my
couch when we were watching football. Like any kitten, he's always seems
to have two speeds, full out "play" mode or sleeping. In that photo, he
was "out"...I mean a truck could have drove through the living room and he
wouldn't have woke up (Cat's been keeping him busy during his "play modes"
while awake).
Anyway, I just wanted to pass along how
happy we are with Leo. He's doing great and we love the little guy very
much.

I'm teaching Beau how
to play the guitar. So far, So good! He said "Hey!!"
Isn't Beauregard a hoot! We're having the inside
of the house painted and he has helped all the way. Beau has been right at
the painter's heels. Beau is special. He should have been a healing cat.
But I could not give him up.

Hi Kim,
Halifax (Faxie,
Faxington, Sir Faxalot, although my Mom calls him Hal) continues to bring
us great joy. He is Nutley's best pal, and even Macka thinks he's not so
bad. They regularly play tag and chase each other all over the house,
clambering up the cat tree, leaping and skidding across the dining room
table on the way down.
Faxie's favorite thing in the whole world, though, is anything with
a jingle on it. He has the keenest hearing - disturb one tiny little bell
and he's there in a flash from the furthest part of the house. When he's
bored he'll drag a jingle toy over to one of us and demand that we make it
dance for him. It's hilarious to hear him drag one of those plastic wands
up or down the stairs with the end of it hitting every single stair as he
goes.
Mealtime is very popular with all the kids, but Faxie is the most
vocal, singing for his supper. He's chatty in general, which we find very
endearing. He's such a gifted conversationalist and greets us with
chirrups, kisses and head butts.
Fax is helpful around the house too. He makes a point of sitting
directly on whatever I'm studying, in order to stress its importance. He
selects pens he thinks are just wrong for the notes I'm taking and throws
them on the floor.

Everyone who sees Halifax thinks he's just beautiful (an
understatement).

good together.

Hi Kim,
Bear and Maxx are about 1 ½ years old now and I
have to tell you how wonderful and how much fun they are. Bear is about 22
lbs and Maxx 20. And boy, do they like to eat. I’m constantly filling
their dry food bowls. In the morning I split a can of cat food between
them and Maxx stands up and puts his paws on the top of the counter to
watch me fill the bowls. They act
like the brothers that they are. They are constantly chasing each other
around the house and wrestling, but they also have their quiet times when
they groom each other. We have an open ceiling in our living room and you
can often find one or both of them up on the beams surveying their
kingdom.
Maxx is the inquisitive one. He follows me around
the house to see what I am doing and when I sit down, say to work on the
computer, he lays down next to me. And when he wants something, he
chirps and trills until he gets it.

Bear is the wild one. He
likes to play fetch with his toy mice. He will bring a mouse to me, then
move back a few feet and crouch down until I fling it across the house. He
takes off at full speed and usually does not stop in time and crashes into
walls and furniture. He picks up the mouse, brings it back and drops it
back at my feet so we can do it again. His favorite time to do this is
when I’m getting ready for work in the morning. He jumps up and opens the
bathroom door, drops off his mouse and heads back out to wait for me to
toss it.

Kim, I want to thank you again for getting
Bear and Maxx off to such a great start. They are such a well behaved and
loving pair of cats. If you ever are in the Kenosha area, please stop by
and say hi.
